32. Let's get real. I'm a mom and my entire family watches this show. I suspected he was gay long before this and didn't care. I figured he was a good enough singer to even make the top 6. However, I don't relish the thought of explaining what a lap dance is to my kids. Frankly I am not quite sure what a lap dance is myself and I don't want to think about it. AI is a family show and this man doesn't need to be on it. Until someone gets their big break there were lots of other ways for them to support themselves. It's distasteful and AI needs to kick him off. I don't think they should subject their viewers to him again and I don't want to chance that he will get in the top 12. It's a turnoff to middle america and that's that.

33. Ignorance is claiming Gay is okay. We medicate people for hyperactivity but claim gay is normal??? Get real. It IS mental disorder just like OCD, ADHD, etc.

Calling someone ignorant for telling the truth might make YOU FEEL better, but it does not the nature of things.

And TM should be ashamed for censoring posts with which they disagree when there is no foul language or incitement of violence. Of course the majority of their staff are gay.

35. David Hernandez is already a favorite of mine. He sings beautifully and he looks magnificent. I'm a 56 yr old straight female and I'm not in the least bit offended that he may have been a stripper. TMZ is getting sickening. Rather than report on the events in the entertainers lives TMZ spends all it's time trying to tear them down concocting sordid scandals.
I believe the majority of America would want American Idol to allow him to continue in the competition.

As long as you don't go rob and kill anyone, or just sit on your arse to collect welfare checks, I don't see anything wrong with it. 44. Someone above asked why "everyone on this show have a bad past????" It's not a "bad past", honey, it's called having a life. If his life involved nude stripping so what? That has nothing to do with his ability to sing. And if anyone decides not to vote for him *because* he was a stripper instead of a bad performance, then that says more about the voter than it does about David. These contestants aren't trying out for theological seminaries, why should their backgrounds be subject to such scrutiny? He's a good singer and I hope he goes far.
