32. Simmons branding KISS is hardly any accomplishment. He probably sells KISS condoms. It shows KISS was nothing but an ACT, not real rock and roll. Zero contribution to music, and lots to cartoon figures. He and Kiss might as well have been a Vegas circus act.

35. Admittedly KISS is musically talentless, however no one can deny the uber-business success Simmons has built over the past three decades. Not many bands with no talent can remain a household name for over thirty years and have their images used for profit on everything from mugs to condoms to sex tapes. Sort of like Star Wars - not great acting or writing, but Lucas' marketing machine has turned it into an international psudo-economy. Like Lucas, Simmons has been able to profit from ALL THINGS containing his image (ugly as it may be). Only in America!
