TMZ just caught up with Lynne Spears -- with Brit's bro Bryan -- outside of UCLA Medical center, where Britney is now on a three-day psychiatric hold.
Lynne said very little, except to confirm that her daughter was O.K. TMZ also caught Brit's father, a solemn looking Jamie, making his exit, alone.
31. Just don't expect to get the old YOUNG Brit back. A sucessful treatment would mean that she will grow up and take FULL responsibility FOR HER WHOLE LIFE. Including her kids, her actions and how she presents herself to the "PEOPLE" in the future. She's NOT an act, she a real person. Everyone needs to back away now and let her herl. IT'S GOING TO TAKE SOME TIME, OR IT'S NOT REAL.

34. Kay, you're obviously a CHILD yourself if you can't understand how badly Britney needs her FAMILY now. She has been used and abused by all her "friends" and the photog's. She's dealing with (or NOT dealing with, really) a mental illness. It's REAL and has caused her to become completely chemically unbalanced in her body, her brain. I'm not a doctor but my daughter has a friend who's bi-polar and I started to see how much Britney's actions reminded me of her. Britney's actions were MUCH worse, more dangerous, etc, They aren't perfect people who just need some pills, they usually have personality "problems" all their lives. It's rough, she needs supjporters who don't have their hand out, right now.

36. I agree with #31. Bryan didn't take any crap...and he's HUGE! Why hasn't he taken Sam down. Maybe some real progress will be made. We all know how big brothers are with thier sisters. Let's hope something positive actually happens and the creeps who are attatched to her are plucked off. Otherwise I think we will see another Anna Nicole story.
For people to make horrific comments about her now is seriously like making fun of a kid with cancer.

41. You REALLY REALLY REALLY have to wonder about Lynee Spears. I mean the Sam guy may be up to no good but to dat ehe is only one speaking up for Britney on radio shows etc. And he was able to get her temporarily committed whoch is exactly what she needs - thats more than the family was able to do so it makes you wonder if Lynne really has her best interest at heart or is just a media whore. At least the dad didnt comment to paparazzi but Lynne did and she justneeds to keep he rmouth shut. Also I always think how the mom ran to KFed the minute Brotney wasnt letting her see the kids. Thats a total betryal on a mothers part to go side with the man who used and ditched your daughter! Also she sold out 16 yr old daughters pregnancy to tabloid for money? I think Lynne needs to be watched!

44. Not sure why all the hoopla to get her to UCLA was necessary but hope she stays for a few months at the very least.

45. Have you noticed how much Britney's mom has aged...I really do feel sorry for her as a mother. Now that Britney is all grown up, I imagine it has been hard for her to always be around. I think she has tried to help the best way she can but Britney is not exactly accepting any help with open arms. Even though Britney is getting help, It will be up to her to continue getting better. I do pray for her because I know that those little boy's need their mom too.
