Lets Get This Party Started
Britney & Miley Taking Turkey Together?

Pass the bad influence! Though there's no word on what Britney Spears is doing for Thanksgiving, she's certainly welcome at the house of the biggest teen pop act on the planet -- Miley Cyrus.

In Touch reports that Miley's dad -- some guy named Billy Ray Cyrus -- has invited Brit to dinner with the family. "We love her. We would love to be there for you and we care about you," says the achy breaky daddy. Apparently –--*shudder* -- Miley is "a big fan" of Brit's and "wants to reach out" to the popwreck as well.

CBS Slams Rather Suit as Bizarre, Baseless

The slapfight between CBS and Dan Rather just got all bitched-up.

CBS swung back at its former anchor yesterday, calling his $70 million lawsuit against the network "bizarre" and "baseless," and in a strongly worded statement, says that it is "mystified and saddened" at Rather's allegations. The network filed a motion to dismiss the suit in New York Supreme Court yesterday. Rather filed suit back in September, alleging breach of contract for shorting him of airtime on "60 Minutes."

Party Favors: Kyra Sedgwick Really into Reusing ... Wayne Newton Going to Be "Fine" ... Ghostbusters Face Slime Once Again

Thrifty Kyra Sedgwick told TMZ that snaps of her were only worth a few bucks, but we've learned where she really saves -- the environment, that is. Kyra bought that snappy reusable Envirosax shopping bag at Delight.com ... Wayne Newton has a viral infection in his heart, and he'll be out of commission for a couple months, but tells People he's "going to be fine." ... TMZ has learned that the "Ghostbusters" cast is coming back, not for a third movie, but for the video game.

1. Britney needs to have turkey with her kids, if they still matter. Dan Rather is soo over the and hill and bitter. He was just a left-wing hack.

2. Thanksgiving with the Cyrus family is a great idea. Britney could bring her famous dessert. Chocolate pudding already in plastic cups. They are a ding dang hit in the trailer park.

3. Don't corrupt Miley Cyrus! Surround yourself with those who can lift you higher, not drag you down like a rock in a pool...

4. Wonder if there's any financial motivation on Billy Ray's part? Does he have the same manager as Fabio?

6. Just went to the Miley concert with my 12 year old. it was wonderful! It's hard to believe a 14 year old can put on such a show! The show was clean and modest. Miley seems to really be a sweet and wholesome girl. She has a good family and they are moral people. I think Britney should set down with this family and have Thanksgiving. It would be really good for her. Thank you Miley and the whole Cyrus family for giving my daughter such a great experience she will never forget!! God Bless you all!!

10. Why not all of all you loners including Brit..talk more turkey crap.

11. If Britney is going to drive on Thanksgiving, let's hope that she has the sense to hire a driver if the toddler boys are going to be with her. As far as the invitation from the Cyrus camp goes --why make the invitation public and not private? Seems strange. As for Dan Rather he needs to get over it already and move on. The mistakes he made at the end of his broadcasting career on CBS were of his own doing.

13. Whats the Frequency Kevin? Damn Blather needs to just Fade Away. You had your 40 years of fame, it ended and now you cant let go. You had 12 months to sue, you chose to wait until the 13th month, too late, and only after you realized you were not going to be relevant in your new role and new job.

You win Damn Blather---you're name is in the news again. But you lose in the court of public opinion---take a place next to Barry Bonds.

14. This can't happen, BRITNEY WILL RAPE THAT LITTLE GIRL. She's not even 16 is she? THEY ARE CRAZY for inviting her. First off, Britney will have to see her naked because she demands, then they'll switch close and BAM! STATUTORY RAPE.

15. Why "shudder" that Miley is "a big fan" of Brit's? There are folks who are not evil to the core as TMZ is and I think it is nice that folks like the Billy Ray Cyrus family has compassion for what Brit is going through. But I truly hope Britney will be with her family this Thanksgiving. There is change when there is healing in a family and I am sure Brit's change can begin there with brother, sister and mother. And if her father is not invited there to that table, I hope she will accept a place at his table too.
