Quiet Dog Back in L.A.

91. I am glad that Dog is breaking his silence by being on LKL and on the news show. I look forward to hearing what he has to say. I'm not sure if Dog's son and his girlfriend deserve forgiveness. I believe the girlfriend knew what Dog's son was doing and planned and did not prevent it. The show was pulled temporarily because some sponsors withdrew, but my feeling is that it will be back on sooner or later. The reason I believe this is that, although what Dog said in his telephone conversation with his son was racist, it was not done by him with the intention of it being all over tv and in National Enquirer, he was yelling at his son on the phone in anger and using very unspeakably language. So now, EVERYONE has heard it and is talking about it. I know some people in show business, it depends on what part of show business you are in as to whether you do or say things HOPING people will notice and report it, or avoid the press like crazy, hoping no one knows anything about your private life. I will say this, I do not condone what happened, but the man that Dog the Bounty Hunter is and has been most of his life, is not your typical person, whether he is on tv or not. His life is and has been unique, even though fame and fortune come to some people, they remain the same people in a lot of ways, who wouldn't. I enjoy his program, I would watch it again, the ratings would be sky high, everyone would want to tune in and see how Dog handles the whole thing after this happened.

If someone wants to use a racial ephitat in a private phone conversation -so what.The natural reprecussion of saying things people don't like is that then people don't like YOU - but what's with this desite to censor people? The other thing is, Dog Chapman has done more to help try and motivate young black people than 99% of rappers & disgusting pimps like Al Sharpton. Do any of you even know about Dog's social givings? When someone uses a deragotory term towards me , I don't automatically get offended - I think to myself "is that me? does that fit me?" and if it doesn't, than who gives a f!@# what that person thinks. Thank you for showing your stupidity to the whole world. BET is owned by Viacom, the same entity that owns MTV. I've NEVER, in all of my years of watching BET, seen anyone on BET call white people crackers, honkeys or otherwise. What I have seen is a series of wack, white comedians trying to get their shine on on Comic View. Take that BS to HBO.

There would be no need for BET, MTV Tres or anything remotely "ethnic" if tv, film and other media outlets would hire BLACK, LATINO and ASIAN writers to properly relay that race's experiences so we as so-called "minorities" can be properly represented.

White people complain about Black people and the images broadcast of Black people, and they stereotype us based on those images, but white people are the ones who are responsible for those broadcasts.

105. Chapman finds himself in a real problem now. Every convict and/or bailjumper is going to claim that he was verbally abused by chapman, and was hit with racial slurs. They want to strike back at the person that captures them, and in their mind this is a way to do it with dog; it's how the convict mind thinks. It's a real chink in his armor, and he's now going to have to face bogus civil rights lawsuits. He's in for a real tough time from this point forward...
