Judge to Brit -- You Got Substance Abuse Problems

The judge in the Britney Spears custody battle found that "there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol by (Britney)." The judge has ordered Britney "to undergo testing for the use of controlled substances and alcohol." Testing will be conducted randomly twice a week.

According to judge's order, no changes were made yesterday in the custody arrangement. As we first reported, custody is split 50/50 between Britney and K-Fed. He wants to change it to 70/30 in his favor.

The documents underscore the bitterness in the custody battle. Judge Scott Gordon ruled that "Each party is restrained from making derogatory remarks about the other party and the other party's family or significant other..."

The judge also prohibits Brit and K-Fed from "using corporal punishment with the minor children and from allowing anyone else to do so."

The judge also ordered the battling parents "to engage in joint co-parenting counseling." The order continues, "Each party is ordered to complete the PARENTING WITHOUT CONFLICT program."

The judge went on, "Neither party shall consume alcohol, or other non-prescription controlled substance during or for the 12 hours immediately preceding any period such party is responsible for the health and safety of the minor children."

47. what the hec is wrong with britney spears? why is she so retarted????? If she doesnt want the kids she should just give them to the ex ... if she wants the kids she should stay home , watch some tv go to rehersals and have 1 glass of wine a week with a friend .. it is so simple ... she must be high ~ no one is this stupid .

49. Oh come on, who is hitting the kids? Who has them most of the time? Britney is a party girl and her kids are just in the way, she would love to dump them on someone, ANYONE, but can't without looking like the loser we already know she is. And she doesn't have patience or maternal instinct, easy to figure out who is hitting the kids. And she won't be able to abide by the no drugs and alchol rule, that's her life and she refuses to do rehab because she likes drugs and alcohol too much to give them up - even for her kids.

55. Arghhhhh!! This is driving me crazy! Brit Brit has been to rehab and now their are more accusations of drug use. With the microscope on her life how is it I have still never heard what drugs she is abusing? Is that the best kept secret in Hollyweird or what?

56. Is the Judge stupid or just not know how programs work? Brit won't be able to attend the class he assigned. They don't seem to meet the rules of who is eligible. It says parents can not have a current substance abuse problem

58. I don't think either one of them should have custody if corporal punishment is a concern of the judge. Corporal punishment should never be used, particularly considering the ages of these children. I mean WTF? 2yrs and 1yr old? Love is all these babies need and lots of it. Throw Britbrit and K-fed in parenting classes and give the kids to the grandparents to raise. oh wait! What am I saying? Um, let Brangelina have them for awhile! LOL!

59. No Muslims for Prez! B Informed-I think the judge would assume spanking is OK in a NORMAL SITUATION. However when you are high and you spank you don't know your own power. In that case spanking should be prohibited. To recap: spanking-Yes, Spanking on drugs-NO!!!

60. The judge is crazy not to let KFed have at least temporal complete custody of the children. Sad, but true, both parents like to party, but I think Brittney is the most self-destructive parent, KFed is at least surrounded by more stable family members for support. Ideally, the kids should be put in another family-member's home for the time being so these two can completely get thier crap together. And whose using corporal punishment?! That should be reason alone to move these kids into another home completely!
And for everyone who questions why KFed doesn't seek custody of his other children from Shar Jackson??? You don't see Shar Jackson shaving her head and making a complete fool of herself. It seems that she has a handle on her life and her kids- why would KFed have or see the need to take the kids away from her? There was an interview done with Shar and she states that he sees the kids regularly- those kids at least are lucky enough to have one stable parent.
I think its a toss up as for who would violate the 'no drugs and alcohol' order.
The judge, obviously seeing there were immediate issues that need attending to, should have placed those kids somewhere else right away- seems Brit and KFed are playing the blame game with eachother.
I don't feel bad for Britney one bit. She puts herself in the limelight- no one forces her too- she chose the career path she is on. You would think she would try to better herself after making public mistake, after mistake, after mistake.... she's digging herself a grave.
