Lohan -- Cleaning Toilets 12 Steps at a Time

Lindsay Lohan is at what is considered the most hardcore drug treatment facility in the nation.
Lindsay Lohan and Crique Lodge
TMZ has confirmed Lohan is at Cirque in Orem, Utah, a treatment center run by Mormons. People inside the facility say Lindsay has been a "model patient," and gets absolutely no special treatment.

A television show is broadcasting a piece tonight with a woman in silhouette -- who claims she was at the facility with Lindsay, and that Lohan was difficult with the staff, refused to attend meetings and got lots of special attention -- including a private room. TMZ knows differently.

Sources inside the facility say that Lindsay attends12-step every day as well as other meetings, talks with psychiatrists and psychologists, and receives "other medical treatment." She is not in a private room; she has two roommates. She spends time during the day and night washing dishes, cleaning toilets and doing laundry.

Doctors at the facility say she has been cooperative from the get-go. As for the woman making the allegations, there are two facilities at Cirque -- The Lodge and The Studio. We're told Lindsay and the woman were at different facilities and there was only a short overlap. We're told the woman dropped out of the program days after Lindsay arrived, "against medical advice." Several doctors described the woman as "a problem." We're told the only way the woman could have even seen Lindsay was at group meetings -- she was never in a position to even see Lindsay's accommodations.

And we have more: We're told the day of her arrest, Lohan went to an intense, medical detox facility in L.A. for eight days. She then went directly to Cirque.

One Cirque insider says Lohan says the program is "life-saving."

121. It doesn't matter what I say you will always have to say something to put the religion down, We believe in the bible and Book of Mormon. You obviously don't understand the religion but that is what satan wants, he doesn't want God's church to grow here on earth. It's ok Gordon I will pray for you, we are brother and sister we are all gods children, I feel really sorry for you, because you will never know what true happiness is. Have you ever heard of faith that is what I have I have faith that what I have been taught through my whole life is true. I'm not brainwashed I just have faith. Why are you even spending hours on a religion that you don't like or believe in you shouldn't even care. Give it up it's true :)

122. Wow, such a lot of hate here. Mention "mormons" and this turns hollywood gossip into some sort of philosophical religious battle.

Those who talk trash about LDS members should really do more research and look at the bias of their so-called sources. If you really want some balance of thought regarding this religion, try reading the Book of Mormon on your own and making up your own mind about it, instead of taking someone else's word for it. None of us should judge a person, business, or employee (Boss Man), based solely on their religious beliefs.

On the flip side if you are a member of a church whether you are LDS, Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist, whatever,...I think it's only fair that you be humble in your beliefs, respect others for their differences, and not talk trash about someone because they are "different" It goes both ways, and both ways aren't exactly right.

No one is perfect no matter which religion you are a part of. We all have the same and equal opportunity to make mistakes.

124. I agree that the media focuses way too much on "celebrities" such as some of the ones mentioned above. We need to focus more on serious events and what is currently going on in our country as well as others. Sadly, I am interested in this half/true half/false, exaggerated articles/shows. It draws me in. I can't help it. Obviously, if you are posting on here as well then you pay attention to it also. Anyways, these people are all human. The only difference between us and them, is that they are in the spotlight 24/7 and are wealthy. I almost feel bad for some of these people because the paparazzi and media harass them and cause negative attention. They made mistakes, we have made mistakes. I think Paris and Nicole have learned from them, and I love both of them. I admit it. I think a lot of their mistakes and emotional distress is caused by the media. If you were constantly in the limelight and harassed and followed and watched 24/7, it would cause emotional problems for me. They were punished for their mistakes and breaking the laws, although I do agree they should have had more jail time (Paris, especially Nicole because she has had previous charges in the past, where Paris had not got in trouble until the recent events) Yes, they are wealthy, and yes they are photographed constantly, but that is not completely their fault. At first I think these girls asked for it to launch their careers and for recognition, but it worked. I'm sure they are tired of it too. I would be. Being rich would be amazing, but I do not think I would ever want to be famous because you have no personal time. ANYWAY, they have become famous off of nothing, but they have also had things come out of it and that they have accomplished. I think Paris is really going to change, not be perfect because noone is nor should they be. I have already seen a change in her. It is hard not to judge these people, but we should try not to point our fingers with such negativity when we only know them through the media and how they portray themselves. Anyone who knows anyone that has made mistakes similar to these, or have struggled with addiction should know that it is a disease, and things are hard for every human being. I just think people should think more, and if you do not care for these people, then do not pay attention to them. Give them a break. Everyone except Lindsay Lohan because if she does not get punished for all her car crashes, DUIs, horrible photos, and possession of coke, then something is seriously wrong. She needs to go to jail AND have rehab, not be put in and out of rehab like it is some fun fancy rehab vaca. Although I do not like her at all, especially because of her past and repeated mistakes, I wish her the best because I know how stuff like this occurs everyday in "regular" peoples' life. I do not like Kim either because she seems to have used Paris to become famous, although I do not know anything for a fact, she appears snobby and not loyal. I am not going to judge because I know I do not like being judged, nor does anyone else. THANK YOU!

125. I would never ever judge a person for their beliefs. Every person has a right to believe what they want. I don't understand why I always have to defend what I believe.

I am a very accepting person to diversity and have been taught my whole life to love everyone, including my enemys.

I don't understand why this is a religious argument... isn't it about Lindsey Lohan getting treatment for her substance abuse?

126. Hey Shannon,

I just cannot take a guy who takes a rock and holds it to his eye and then looks into a 10 gallon hat for the secrets of the universe to seriously, can you? You have to admit that is one of the most ridiculous things for any religion. Oh and then you get to populate a planet after you die and become a God. Come on be serious.

If not you are a dumb biatch.

127. Where did you get the rock and the 10 gallon hat from?? I have never heard that in my entire life, you are so confused. where do you get your information from?

128. She should be used to sticking her face in a toilet by now since she pukes her guts out every night after partying. Hopefully she has to clean some after somebody has taken a massive dump, that would be true karma

129. My prayers go out to this young lady..... I don't know her other that movies and what the trash rags like to write.... I feel that her Mother should have had a tighter reign on her and not force her into a grown-up world too fast as we are seeing with many of these young starlets. The establishments that she went to should have been firm with the law and age laws in whom they serve and not see the $$ behind it all.... YES Lindsey needs to be accountable for her actions and I feel she is trying... I am speaking as a victim of a drunk driver that had a twenty year history of abuse behind the wheel both alcohol and drugs..... He never had more than a slap on the wrist by the lazy _ ___ judges and DA's. This man had no legal drivers license either for 15 of those years..... He chose to drink and drive on a saturday morning and take my way of life away. I am now crippled and will never beable to lead a normal life again.... I made sure he went to prison but not long enough. Ten days after this man hit me head on, he again was arrested for the same thing.... that county didn't want to deal with it so they dropped it... they could have put him away for a long time..... I guess I am trying to say.. I pray :Lindsey gets well.... I don't want her to have to live with the fact she cripples someone even herself God forbide she kills anyone..... This guy gave me a life sentence and has never said he was sorry once.... I pray for Lindsey and that maybe her DAD can be the one to help her find her way.... He learned the hard way and wants to save her. Her mother needs treatment and to set a better example..... I get tired of seeing these Hollywood Moms living off their children's talent..... they need to be a parent NOT A BUDDY..... Stay strong Lindsey.. get well and stay well... GOD BLESS

130. I am not a Lindsay fan, I think that she is spoiled, arrogant and selfish and her actions in regard to drinking and driving are testament to that. She is a sick little girl that has had too much too fast. If she is sincere about getting the help that she obviously needs and is committed to her sobriety, then I commend her for going to this facility. If it's only a ploy to try to get a reduced sentence and she's going along to get along, then it will only be a matter of time before she is back on the streets endangering the lives of everyone that gets in front of her.

I am not judging the beliefs of those that run this particular rehab because part of the 12 steps is accepting a higher power. I think it's important to believe in something. I don't know that much about LDS, but now that I live in the Southwest I have encountered a lot of members of the church. I find most LDS members that I have met and worked with to be kind and decent people who have a strong sense of community. No one has tried to convert me or tell me I am damned to Hell for not sharing the same beliefs that they have, which has happened to me in the Midwest.

131. That isn't a mormon religion website the mormn church has nothing to do with that website joseph smith was able to read the gold plates because of the holy ghost. You probably don't know who that is? And I believe what gordon B. Hinckley says, you know I went to church a few weeks ago and a family had just gotten baptized into the church they were a black family, the man had recieved the priesthood, obviously he doesn't care that blacks didn't have it years ago because he has it now, it's all about faith.

132. Hey Heather,

I think your tinfoil hat is wound way to tight. You know your church is a cult and will never be a mainstream religion.

133. Oh what a load of bull! She is getting special treatment. On the news she is driven in a van to her on site AA meetings while other patients have to take a bus and is in smaller more private accommodations than the majority there. Get real!

Posted at 12:24AM on Aug 11th 2007 by chillin`

134. As far as being good the news also said she appears to be irritated there and won`t take off her sunglasses even inside and when spoken to by other patients just cracks a smile. So................cleaning toilets with her designer specs on. LOL

135. I could care less what she does, whether she recovers, or if she hits bottom. Hitting bottom would be nice though especially if she winds up like Debra Winger:Homeless, crack addicted, with her fron teeth missing, living in a card board box being sexually abused by the brothers... I hope they slap the freckles off her face.
