Lohan -- Cleaning Toilets 12 Steps at a Time

Lindsay Lohan is at what is considered the most hardcore drug treatment facility in the nation.
Lindsay Lohan and Crique Lodge
TMZ has confirmed Lohan is at Cirque in Orem, Utah, a treatment center run by Mormons. People inside the facility say Lindsay has been a "model patient," and gets absolutely no special treatment.

A television show is broadcasting a piece tonight with a woman in silhouette -- who claims she was at the facility with Lindsay, and that Lohan was difficult with the staff, refused to attend meetings and got lots of special attention -- including a private room. TMZ knows differently.

Sources inside the facility say that Lindsay attends12-step every day as well as other meetings, talks with psychiatrists and psychologists, and receives "other medical treatment." She is not in a private room; she has two roommates. She spends time during the day and night washing dishes, cleaning toilets and doing laundry.

Doctors at the facility say she has been cooperative from the get-go. As for the woman making the allegations, there are two facilities at Cirque -- The Lodge and The Studio. We're told Lindsay and the woman were at different facilities and there was only a short overlap. We're told the woman dropped out of the program days after Lindsay arrived, "against medical advice." Several doctors described the woman as "a problem." We're told the only way the woman could have even seen Lindsay was at group meetings -- she was never in a position to even see Lindsay's accommodations.

And we have more: We're told the day of her arrest, Lohan went to an intense, medical detox facility in L.A. for eight days. She then went directly to Cirque.

One Cirque insider says Lohan says the program is "life-saving."

76. Why are people acting so weird about "Mormons"? Go educate yourself about a religion before making false claims about it. There is nothing cult about the religion, we keep food storage in case of emergency (natural disasters, tight budget, etc), oh and what in the heck was Dr. M talking about with cancer?! It is against my religion to get cancer?! Come on, that is just ridiculous for him to say that.

Also if I am mormon how am I on a computer? Oh yeah, that is probably because that is not against my religion either. If you met me you would never know what my religion was. I'm a 19 year old girl who dresses, acts(well maybe minus lots of cursing and being slutty), and looks just like any other person.

I really wish people would not be so ignorant about religions. Good for Lindsey for trying to get help.

77. LOHAN IS A COKEHEAD, REHAB N CLEANING TOILETS WILL NOT CLEAN HER UP.

LOHAN MUST DO PRISON TIME FOR HER 2 DUIS.

IT HAS BEEN STATISTICALLY PROVEN THAT ALL THE REHAB IN THE WORLD CANNNOT HELP COKEHEADS.

LOHAN, SADLY, WILL ALWAYS BE IN TROUBLE. SHE HAS NO EMOTIONAL SUPPORT FROM BOTH HER PARENTS, WHO ONLY SEE HER AS THEIR 'CASHCOW'.

ESPERCIALLY DINA LOHAN, THE MOTHER, WHO LET'S HER DO ANYTHING. DINA LOHAN WILL SELL HER DAUGHTER TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER.

OH WELL, GOD GIVES, AND GOD TAKES............

78. OMG You are a complete moron. I am living proof that Cokeheads can recover. I have been clean 12 years & I have a completely normal life. Please tell me where you "found" these statistics. An addict won't get better until they are ready no matter how much rehab they go through. Please no more misguided typing from you. Ok?

79. It sounds like a really harsh, intense rehab -- horseback riding, fly fishing, hiking, and helicopter rides. Afterwards, to ease out of the stress, don't forget the theater, hair stylist, and massages.
I wonder if they actually have time for the 12 step side, or do they hold meetings during naptime so as to not minimize the "experiential" therapy.
A tough program, riiight.
Thank God she didn't actually need something real, like Betty Ford, a place that has a gym and pool, but focuses on actual recovery, not camp.

80. Heather and Marissa :

u two are brain-washed !

A true religion does NOT change because a government tells it to -

Why were African-Americans NOT allowed into the priesthood ?

When you die and go to hell - you will realize ur mistake

Do either of u want 2 comment on the massacre at Mountain Valley ?

81. I don't know where you get your info but that treatment center is NOT run by Mormans. Yes, some of the employees may be Mormans but that has nothing to do with the actual treatment program at Cirque. Also, I have never heard about any of the residents having to clean toilets but I suppose that makes for a better story, eh?

83. Once Lindsey gets her act together, she needs to get legal custody of her 2 siblings before they get totally screwed up by their parents.

84. I hate to see so much talent and beauty go to waste through these young people today. I wonder what they were thinking before most of this started up. I know they thought they could get away with it and sadly enough, Lindsay got away with underage drinking just like many other celebrities.
Just a few weeks ago, my niece told me Lindsay Lohan was her "idol" after she kept watching "The Parent Trap" over and over again.

85. Dr. M, grow up. If you're actually a doctor of anything I'll die of shock. You talk like a 15 year old.

I assume you're referring to the Mountain Meadows Massacre in 1857. I suggest you read this:
http://www.lds.org/portal/site/LDSOrg/menuitem.b12f9d18fae655bb69095bd3e44916a0/?vgnextoid=2354fccf2b7db010VgnVCM1000004d82620aRCRD&locale=0&sourceId=1c234dc029133110VgnVCM100000176f620a____&locale=0

It was not an official church act. People go crazy and do bad things. Even LDS members. Do you attack Catholics asking about their many many atrocities over the years, or do you save your uninformed vitriol for Mormons?

Priesthood Ordination before 1978

In June 1978, President Spencer W. Kimball received a revelation extending priesthood ordination to all worthy males of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Official Declaration 2). Before that time only worthy male members who were not of black African descent were ordained to the priesthood.
Ever since biblical times, the Lord has designated through His prophets who could receive the priesthood and other blessings of the gospel. Among the tribes of Israel, for example, only men of the tribe of Levi were given the priesthood and allowed to officiate in certain ordinances. Likewise, during the Savior’s earthly ministry, gospel blessings were restricted to the Jews. Only after a revelation to the Apostle Peter were the gospel and priesthood extended to others (see Acts 10:1–33; 14:23; 15:6–8).
With the revelation to President Kimball in 1978, the priesthood is now available to all worthy male members regardless of race or ethnicity (see Official Declaration 2). Each candidate for ordination is interviewed by priesthood leaders to ensure that he understands and agrees to live by established principles of righteousness (see Doctrine and Covenants 84:33–44; 121:34–46).

There you go. Care to make any personal statements about YOUR religion?

88. We all want to see her in romantic comedy movies like "Just my Luck".
That's what will sell for her: happy go lucky romantic comedies.

89. Good for TMZ for finally sticking up for Lindsay and exposing the truth about a liar who wants to cash in on her pain and fame.
I can't imagine how difficult it must be for a talented young woman to try to beat a serious addiction when so many idiots are rooting for her to fail.
It seems like a lot of the posters here could use a 12-step programme themselves, as in, how to feel COMPASSION for another human being, no matter who they are.
