No journalist worth his or her salt would do so.

Conversely, it has been written that "journalists" who agreed, as a precondition of an opportunity to interview Reba McEntire at the time of her divorce from Charlie Battles, to refrain from asking McEntire about the divorce violated the agreement.

That is equally unprofessional.

She likes to stir up the media and she's doing it again for this movie. Haven't seen her pictured with 'pax' (still can't understand the name change) since she adopted him. Didn't old honest Ang tell the world she was going to stay at home and concentrate on her family?

129. Last night I watched her on Larry King, and she quite freely talked about Brad, the kids, and activism. Given Larry's sometimes out there questions, I could see she had possibly tried to limit the focus toward the movie, because most of the hour featured on it, but that said, as he compared her life to Maryann Pearl's, and the media attention, she answered all questions with real honesty and all she would say is that the media is a bit of a circus and that while she and Brad chose acting, and fame to a certain extent, her children didn't.
Going back to the letter, yes, she's admitted it, that her handlers wrote it. At least the interviews will be focussed on the movie. And frankly, media attention and its power does play a central part of this movie. If all this rubbish gets the name of the movie out there, and gets people to watch and makes a difference in their lives, I say all the better.
I love Angelina and the work she does and her kids are beautiful and highlight the beauty of being different. I love to see how they change over time and I'll read any story about her. I love that she chooses good projects and honestly, among all the crap of this document, I will read the interviews and watch the movie regardless. I just don't understand how the AP has gone from real journalism to this stand - what, don't they have any real questions to ask anymore?

131. So, little miss Angelina Jolie has a problem with reporters asking her questions about her personal life. Yet, most of the interest of her personal life is caused by statements she has made to promote/ defend her "image".

Well, I have a problem with her self promotion!! & Clearly she wants to quiet all of us into submission. Why do you think she wants 14 children? These poor children will be 14 more reasons people will feel bad bringing this lady where she belongs... and that is the gutter.

132. ENOUGH OF BRANGELINA ALREADY!!! Who really gives a freakin' flip what they do and why they do it? They don't deserve ANYONE'S time or attention, so please stop giving them free publicity, people, and find something TRULY worthwhile to focus on!

Maybe they'll give the cost of a ticket and snacks straight to the Daniel Pearl charity instead of wasting it on a messed up self cutting,blood wearing ,hate my father for cheating while pumping away on a married man, bisexual, husband AND baby stealer. Funny she has very little feelings for Shiloh and her father, her natural family, however if a man or kid belonged to someone else she has to have them....to the point of obsession!!
I couldn't imagine sitting through another movie of hers where she attempts to pull off a bad accent, like in Alexander. Thankfully she only had a small part in that.
I'll be sending the cost of my ticket to the charity where it'll do some good, not to a hollywood glory hound. I doubt Marianne would have sold the rights to the movie if she had known Brad was going to hook-up with a freak and let her star in such a meaningful movie.

Her Lawyers didn't get their jobs by being uneducated....Angie however clearly shows her ignorance everytime she opens her mouth.
I have just sent in my donation to help free these reporters being held for doing their job, instead of buying a movie ticket to see this hypocrite.
I'm also ordering the Daniel Perl book, where proceed will actually go to helping out his family and charity.

I don't care that she banned or didn't ban anyone, that is her perogative, as is limiting reporters in what they can/can't ask...she's free to do that, just as the media are now rightly skerwing her. That's their perogative, and I'm glad they're doing it. She just wants to be Queen of Namibia and follow in Chavez's footsteps in creating a media machine that only caters to her and her "broods" economic well-being. Who can blame her?
