This asshole is as much a lawyer as Paris Hilton. The City Attorney's wife gets into an accident, her car (no mention if it is registered in her name or her husband's) has no insurance. That technically is a criminal violation of the law, period. Whether the case of an uninsured motorist in an accident gets treated as a violation, misdemeanor or converted to a civil penalty subject only to a fine is a matter for the judge hearing the case. Whether the City Attorney's wife is tested for alcohol consumption using a Breathalyzer type device is a matter for the police officers at the scene, who probably saw from the computer plate information and the vehicle placard on the dashboard that the car was Rocky's. Talk about a double standard. Paris Hilton did not get into an accident and her car was insured.

122. They were both cited for driving on a suspended license so it is the same according to the law. Delgadillo has always been somewhat of a shady character and if he was investegated I am sure there is much more he does not want to be uncovered. I dont care for Paris what so ever but lawyers are the bottom of the barrel, with a few exceptions, but Delgadillo is as low as it gets.

These numbers are hard to put into perspective to understand the full power of this kind of money power.

A normal work week is 40 hours x 52 weeks which equals 2,080 hours a year.

A million dollars returns $50,000 a year divided by 2080 = $24.04 an hour.
$24.04 x 40 hour work week = $961.54. As you can see a million dollars in a savings account will return almost the equivalent of a thousand dollars a week job without spending any of the principal.

The Hilton family are billionaires, as you can see a billion dollars is $24,040 an hour on a forty hour week. Do you really believe the Hilton family couldn't afford a chauffeur to drive Paris around after her license was revoked. Looks like the greatest publicity stunt ever.

124. The California Law says if you do not have insurance and have an accident, you may lose your driver license for up to 4 years. Why didn't she have insurance? The Sheriff needs to make known all the politicians who got out of paying fines and serving time when they and/or their wife broke the law.

I am no Paris fan - but I DETEST the corrupt cops and court system in this city. I hope Paris can take some consolation that while she is getting shafted with a punishment 1,000 times worse than ANYONE would have gotten for what she did, that maybe, just maybe this a-hole's career will be destroyed and his life finished because of this despicable witch hunt.

TMZ, Harvey, DO THE RIGHT THING! Instead of reporting over and over about the temperature in Paris' cell, PLEASE "follow the money" and report every single piece of filth about this scumbag until he is hung out to dry.

A few years back I got a similar "DUI" offense - the victim of a one drink, right at the limit, pulled over through entrapment (followed from a bar for miles until I was pulled over for a "cracked tail light"), and given a cherry busting DUI by some punk rookie out to harrass someone. This experience changed and practically ruined my life at the time - and the only thing I learned from it, after attending classes and AA meetings, was that EVERY SINGLE COP IN THIS CITY DRIVES DRUNK HABITUALLY - OFF AND ON DUTY!!!

if you're a cop in LA, you can harrass anyone you want, yet at the same time, go out and get blind raging drunk and given a free pass by all your other buddies on the force...they'll stop you and see you're soused, yet let you get right back on the highway that very second. So what is it? COPS and CITY OFFICIALS are ALLOWED to drive drunk and with suspended licenses, yet the rest of us are not only expected to be responsible...but will be the victims of witch hunts and disproportionate punishments, sentences and fines? DESPICABLE! They need to either relax the laws in cases like Paris' or come up with a freakin' standard already that makes sense and is adhered to!

As I said before, I have no love for Paris, but I certainly hope she doesn't come out of this as some brainwashed, Stepford product of some crap attempt at rehabilitaion. They are intentionally messing with her, plain and simple.

while you're at it, why don't you try and dig up a bunch of crap on that bible thumping pathetic excuse for a judge too? He's gotta go!

127. Delgadillo's wife had a warrant issued for her arrest nine years ago when she failed to show up for court. Paris was late 20 minutes, Delgadillo's wife nine years late. She also did not have insurance, it wasn't that she failed to have any on her, she outright didn't have any. So later on when she drove the cites vehicle and wrecked it she had no insurance and they had to pay for the repairs to the vehicle out of their own pockets.

Paris didn't hurt anyone or cause any damage. Delgadillo's wife can't say the same thing.

129. How weird that Delgadillo's wife violated the law many years ago and just now that he made Paris Hilton go back to jail all of his dark secrets are being investigated. I am sure that the rich people had him investigated in revenge for sending a rich person to jail.
