Prosecutor's Wife and Paris Have Something in Common

Rocky Delgadillo, Paris HiltonIn the ultimate of ironies, turns out the wife of Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo -- the man who wanted more jail time for Paris Hilton -- was popped for driving with a suspended license.

The incident occurred in 2005, according to the Los Angeles Times. Michelle Delgadillo's punishment -- a $186 fine.

Delgadillo said through a spokesman the two incidents are not comparable. "Paris Hilton, when driving with a suspended license, was on probation for a DUI-reckless driving charge," the Delgadillo spokesman said. Michelle Delgadillo was not on probation when cops stopped her for an illegal turn and found out her license had been suspended -- a year earlier, she was in an accident and could not show proof of insurance.

BTW, the City Attorney's office did not handle his wife's case.

So is it better to be an heiress or an City Attorney's wife? You decide.

17. i was in jail once for 18 hours for a small mistake (i'm sure paris thought that too), it was hell on earth. the female guards pushed me around, the prisoners stole simple things like my toothbrush from me and if i wanted to go to the bathroom, it was open in front of 50 people plus the guards (i didn't go the whole time). the cops tried to steal one of the woman's money in there b/c she was drunk but she was positive that she had 2 g's when she left from closing her restaurant. the head sheriff finally 'found it" so she could sign her forms and be checked in and he apologized. i'm not on paris' side but unless you've been there you have NO IDEA the hell it is. i'm beautiful and rich so i'm not jealous and i'm out of the age range where i think she's cool. but if i was her i would have tried everything in my power to, to stop it.

21. If Mr. and Mrs. Hilton will let their daughter serve her time it means more love than taking her out now. You two have enabled her to go into self-destruct mode for years. She is 26 going on 14, can't you see that?.

MOM AND DAD AND LAWYERS ARE JUDGE SHOPPING RIGHT NOW AND PARIS WILL BE OUT ON MONDAY OR NO LATER THAN TUESDAY PENDING APPEAL. STAY TUNED!

22. It all boils down to money. Everyone knows that. The worst thing that can happen to her is to make her a NO-THING. She is like a human virus that thrives in the limelight. Stop watching her show or buying her crap. No good is going to come to her no matter how hot she pretends to be. There is nothing to be jealous of. Pity the fool.

I am sorry this has happened to you ,but though no fault of your own. I had my license suspended for 60 days and guess what I did not drive, for the fear I would go to jail for 30 days if I was caught, however it was not for a DUI which is not something anyone should be doing. Needless to say I am not against you Paris and frankly could not care how much money you have. You are responsible for the life you live and you violated your rights, so just like the rest of us, in this world we live in you disobey the rules of law and you pay the price.... Yours being your sentence to jail. I would not like to loose control of my life either, so we don't cross that line. You could be doing what you do best this weekend, chin up, shoulders back and smile for the camera but instead you crossed that line and simply put you are paying the consequences. Get on with it, stop trying to get away with it and just do your time. Just think pretty soon it will be all history and the next time you party hard, think twice before you drive.................

How awful that the convicted rapist got 10 years, and the guy who spit on the sidewalk a $50 fine... Such injustice!

Comparing a DUI Probation violation 3 times to a suspended license is laughable.
Paris, serving a 36 month DUI Probation, was found reckless driving while intoxicated twice on a suspended license in complete violation of her probation… Not once... Not twice... BUT 3 TIMES!... DUH!!

What a cheap shot at Rocky Delgadillo...

This site is getting to be a real joke with the Valley Girl TMZ Staff trying to justify idiotic behavior.

30. This is completely different. Paris got caught violating her probation not once, but twice! She was on probation for dui....a big difference from "proof of insurance. THEN, Paris didn't take a required alcohol awareness course. She was late to her hearing.... and pleaded that she didn't know anything about any of it because she had "people who handled those things for her." Her parents have bought her everything and bought her out of every difficult situation. They only have themselves to blame. When Paris wanted to be famous, they hired a PR group to promote her to put her in the Public Eye. Well, Paris, you got exactly what you wanted.....be careful what you wish for.....you just got it. I'm sorry that she is sad. I have sympathy for people who suffer, but she brought this on herself. I see her 18 yr old brother is following in her footsteps. He got mugged outside a bar that he was trying to get into at 4 am!!!!!! What the heck was he thinking? Hiltons, you have lost control. I will never stay in another Hilton hotel. I will not throw good money to bad. Also. What is up with you, Levin? Did you get bought off??? You certainly have changed your tune........you really shouldn't be in this business if you can be bought so easily....or if you have suddenly grown a heart.
