No Cell Mate for Paris

Paris Hilton has her jail cell all to herself ... for now.

After turning herself over to the authorities late Sunday night, Ms. Hilton is finally behind bars at a county jail in Lynwood. Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says the heiress has been "cooperative and calm" since her arrival. Whitmore says Hilton has been booked and fingerprinted, and will be spending the rest of the night in a cell by herself.

The spokesman added, "She'll be fine ... if she follows the rules."

16. Paris Hilton is not making a statement with her continued driving with a suspended license. Not only did she break the law, she ran from the cops, even when the cops knew where she was at, they let her spend all the time she wanted to turn herself in and reduce a mandatory jail sentence to a short stay in a private jail cell. The only statement she is making is that if your famous enough, rich enough, and expect to be treated like royalty by the Police, you will be.

The solitary cell is because of what was stated before, she would be messed up by virtually anyone in the jail cell with her that found out that she bought, cried, and weaseled her jail time including running from the cops; down to a short stay.

The justice system is made to try "ALL AMERICANS AS EQUAL" under the law. The fact that people have the urge to say that they are making an example of her; is a sad truth of our justice and criminal law system.

18. I am baffled, by the public, that seems to 'enjoy', miss Hiltons incarceration. It is no laughing matter, to be in 12' by 8' cell, all ALONE, with only a toilet, a desk and a shelf/bed, to sleep on. Paris, broke the law, she admits that and now she is doing her time. What else do you people want?????
I for one, will be praying for her sanity and safety, everyday, until she is released and safe!!!
