Paris Hilton's lawyer has made it official -- Paris has filed a notice with the court, vowing to appeal her 45-day jail sentence.
The notice is a formality that lawyers are required to file before lodging the appeal. It does not give the grounds for the appeal, but Hilton's lawyers must essentially prove that the trial judge abused his discretion by imposing the sentence.

3. honestly she should just give it up...i mean really if LA wanted to get really nasty with her, look at all the times that you (TMZ) have caught her driving, she is totally taking advantage of the system. I would save grace and due the time, she will come out better showing the public that yes she is not above the law.

9. Give me a break!!!!!! Paris Hilton has had the benefit of being pampered and sheltered her entire life. I hope she has to serve every minute of her sentence like any other person who violates their probation. She's lucky they didn't ask for a UA!

The Hilton family had best make sure they make it contingent in the family will that she's not allowed to manage the family businesses. For cripes sake she wants the world to believe she didn't read the court order when she signed it!!!!!! And, that she's deaf too and didn't hear the judges orders when it was reaad to her in court last year.
If my 26-year old daughter were caught in such a mess, I'd be empathetic. But, would also let her know there's absoluetely no excuse, so take your punishment and learn by it.
Paris is a spoiled rotten brat that thinks the world revolves around her. And, mommy dearest can pat herself on the back for that, and take partial credit for her daughter being nothing more than shallow supercial eye candy.
All looks no brains....and very very child like for her age.
