Burger King to J-Hud: Free Burgers for Life!

Burger King has awarded Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson an all-you-can-eat pass for their fast food restaurants... for life! Have it your way... forever!

Hudson reacted to Simon Cowell's criticism of her for not thanking "American Idol" in her Oscar speech. She reportedly snapped back, "If I'd been any better at my job when I was at Burger King in my middle teens, I wouldn't be here either, so should I thank them, too?" Hudson worked at the BK on East 87th and State Street in Chicago. Burger King was her first job at age 16, where she worked with her sister, who claims she sang while working the drive-thru and flipping burgers.

In an exclusive statement to TMZ, Burger King responded to Hudson's beef, assuring her that no thanks is necessary, and awarded her with BK for life:

Heavy-Duty Idols"...In response to Jennifer's recent comments in which she asked if she should be thanking Burger King, we say thanks, but no thanks are necessary. Burger King Corporation is proud of Jennifer's success and while we never like to lose employees, in this case, our loss is the entertainment industry's gain ... To further show our support for Jennifer, and make sure she never has to sing for her supper again, Burger King Corporation is giving her a pre-paid BK Crown Card that will be automatically reloaded for life."

Looks like a whopper of a win for Jennifer.

16. Be careful Jennifer, Burger King is not your friend. Your big ass his going to get bigger eating free at Burger King. Gve that card to someone who needs it like that one Olsen twin, she could used a fat-full meal or two.

17. I can't believe how rude you people are!!!! You all are very judgemental of how she looks. Yes, she is a little overweight, but she should not be judged. Besides she doesnt owe American Idol anything...she didnt win...she was voted off. Yes she could be thankful for them to allow her opportunity, but she doesnt owe them anything. I think Beyonce is more stuck up than anyone and her head as gotten bigger since she first started!

22. When Kelly Clarkson did not thank AI on any award shows and refused to let them use her songs for the show. I did 'nt see any comments at that time. It is a new flavor in town!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone can make all of the negative comments. Whether Jennifer goes up or down GOD and nobody but GOD has her life in his hands and it is nothing no one can do about that.

BK wasted a great PR opp to give to charity in her name--she doesn't need charity any more--or fast food for that matter. And she is quite full of herself. If not for AI, she may have never been discovered--like so many other artists with no representation. But Kelly Clarkson didn't thank them either when she won her Grammy. The Dreamgirls role was so close to home for Jennifer, it wasn't much of an acting stretch so she was able to do a good job. Let's see her acting chops when she doens't play a singer. Can you say F. Abraham Murray? Marissa Tomei? Cuba Gooding? Gwyneth Paltrow? Jennifer will be one of those guys--Oscar winner/career tanks. She'll need that BK card then!
