146. People are not in the best positions to shine when they are in place for
two mysterious circumstantial type deaths, have their name on a birth certificate and not be married to the mother legally, attempt to quarrel an infant that could possibly inherit more than is evident it is already entitled to at it's mother's death. If Anna's mother did not step forward, people would say she is uncaring and did not have any desire for a child that SHE is actually more entitled than any other person on the face of the earth at this time. Anna may not have realized that such a conflict would result when she did if perhaps for another reason, since I don't think death was on her mind at the time of her daughter's birth.
People are quick to critic a grandmother for not being involved in a daughter's life for circumstances that are not shared nor may not be factual on either Ann's or her own side. Their business is more private than benefit of the doubt seems to be in either of their regard. Thank god there is a blood relative verses an attorney that would have a lot to gain if he can control the situation in ANY FORM. There is more than a few views of this situation and
don't forget the fact that neither Anna's nor her son's death are within the
shadow of a doubt ruled natural at this time.
As far as claims to paternity, the best course is just that. When/if a father
is actually named, they can run the course of the legal channels. Until then,
proclaimned, got my name on the paper, or seeking recognition types are all
gold diggers. You can bet that anyone involved will be coming forward if they beleive they can cash in on this death. If this were going on in anyone's family, I'd bet a broader viewpoint would be used.
