Tyrese Allegedly Punches Pregnant Girlfriend

Tyrese TMZ has learned that police are conducting a criminal investigation into allegations that R & B singer Tyrese punched his pregnant girlfriend in the arm and thigh early this morning.

Police sources tell us that Tyrese's live-in girlfriend claimed that the two got into a heated argument around 5:30 AM at their Los Angeles home. According to our sources, paramedics responded after Tyrese allegedly struck the woman, who is three months pregnant, twice and then drove away from the scene.

He seems to be bailing from his professional responsibilities too. According to a source, Tyrese was scheduled to call in to Sacramento's KSFM 102.5 morning show today to chat about the upcoming "Transformers" movie, but never did. Tyrese's people called the station right before his slotted interview time and told the DJs he was "M.I.A." Yeah, we guess so!

Reps for Tyrese had no comment.

83. Argument at 5:30am? Could he have been coming home really late from the club and that's what triggered the alleged argument? Still there is never an excuse for hitting someone. That is why you have feet, walk away, get in your car, and go cool off. I hope for his sake this is not true.

I have heard different versions of this same story, and I want to know the TRUTH. All races of men have been beating women for years. Just because Tyrese is black means nothing. If this is true, it still doesn't give him the right to put his hands on the mother of his child. Besides, she'll stay with him if he apologizes, they always do.

we don't know the whole truth about what went down between the two of them.
we are only going by what was told to us by the media and the reporters.however if he did hit his pregnant girlfriend he should pay the price for that,Because their is no justification for why a man feel or believe that it's okay to put their hands on a
woman. I agree with some of you and some of you i don't agree with far as his career is going to end because of what he did, a lot of celebrities have done worse than that and still managed to keep their careers.this ordeal should teach him and her a lesson.they both should make better choices in who they have children with because we all have that CHOICE.
