Miss Nevada Replaced

Katie Rees, Miss Nevada USA, was officially replaced after scandalous photos of her hit the net.

The Miss Nevada USA website has been updated to show First Runner-up (and insanely tan) Helen Salas as the current crown-holder, with a statement saying that Rees "has been relieved of her duties."

The salaciously entertaining photos showed Rees exposing herself inside a Tampa Bar, Fletcher's Backstreet Grill, and outside of a nearby audio system company, Donovan Audio Designs Inc.

Donovan issued a statement on their website distancing themselves from the racy photos, saying, "There is no denying that these pictures were taken in front of our old office. However there were a number of pictures depicting a rather wild party as well. These pictures were not taken inside Donovan Audio's offices, nor did the parties occur there."

Though she's said little in a public forum, Rees' MySpace page holds a telling Bob Marley quote, "who are you to judge the life i live? i know i'm not perfect - and i don't have to be, but before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean."

This a note to Donald Trump and all of these beauty contestant show runners, if you really want to know if these girls have hidden pasts...give them all lie detector, voice stress analysis and thermo imaging blush tests as a condition of them taking part in your contests. These tests are all able to detect deception, and should be regualarly repeated throughout the contests...as well as the reign of those selected as wimmers and runners-up in these beauty contests. If Donald Trump contacts me, I give him a certain idea that will blow his mind, and make his beautiy contests as big as America Idol!!! 82. The misconception that sexual indulgence automatically equals moral bankruptcy is ludicrous. If Katie Rees has the qualities necessary to fulfill her duties as Miss Nevada, then her sexual behavior shouldn't be an issue.

If you think about it, this is a form of discrimination; in the U.S., peoples views regarding gays and blacks have changed over time as they come to realize that it doesn't make sense to treat someone as inferior because of their sexual preferences or skin color -- how is this any different?

A thousand years from now, when the simplistic concepts of 'good' and 'evil' are redefined by time, maybe promiscuous people will be considered the greatest members of society. It's funny the perception of what's 'decent' changes to its polar opposite sometimes; you can see it over and over in history. Those who need to view themselves as 'good people' to be able to function are the first to judge., so that they can be the opposite of what they're judging.

People are too complex to simply be labeled 'good' or 'bad'; better to try and understand what makes them do the things they do.

87. Look, this is just the latest in a continuing downward spiral of The American Woman. Our daughters are bombarded with these sluts as supposed role models ?? Just go to YouTube and you'll find countless webcam clips of teenage girls "shakin' that ass", take a look at rap videos , check out those "stars" ,paris, lindsey, britney, throwing out crotch shots without panties !! 89. i was no prude either, but it never occured to me to take photos like this. i think these kinds of values (or lack thereof) are inherent in some people. you either have class and dignity or you don't. this girl doesn't. these pageants are a joke and for the life of me i can't imagine why they're still around.
