3. WHO cares about these so-called "beauty queens?" They're nothing but a bunch of empty-headed dimwits who allow themselves to be treated as cattle for a worthless piece of tin and some "scholarship" money.

Who's really surprised, anyway? These "beauty queens" go on to accomplish stellar things such as getting married (to sugar daddies, of course) and having kids (like no one else can do those things).

5. In recent weeks allegations concerning the reigning Miss USA and her behavior have been widely covered in the media. While I support entirely the efforts to help Miss USA with rehabilitation, I also support and believe in the rules of pageant organizations throughout the country. Almost all have made it clear to their titleholders their will be a zero-tolerance policy for any illegal behavior, or major violation of the rules and regulations of any candidate seeking the title. We believe pageants encourages contestants to be positive role models for our youth. We also encourage young women to become aware of the issues facing society and to become socially active in promoting causes that matter to them.
In my twenty-five plus years as a pageant director I can honestly say that the vast majority of these young women are well educated, balanced, and work in their communities and with youth in trying to make for a better society. They usually are among the best of the best. This week we are seeing the Miss USA Pageant air their dirty laundry for the world to see. Let's all keep in mind that over 3 million young women compete annually in pageants. If 3 or even 20 are having probems like we have seen let us deal with them, but let's not castigate an entire industry for the problems that a few have encountered.

8. Donna who has the #4 comment is all wrong. The vast majority of young women who compete in Miss America, Miss USA and the thousands of other pageants are excellent role models. Most are college educated, involved in school activities, and contribute good to society. We are this week seeking the bottom of the barrel. Donna you are wrong. Why do I know this? I work with these young women on a daily basis. Well educated, well balanced and not at all like the ones portrayed this week in the media. Of course what else would you expect from the media? Don't buy into it. Some of the ones ( Maybe you included) are hairy armpitted women from the NOW who hate anything that is feminine.

Where do you get your info? She's 22, which has been said in every article but this one. Also the site that owns the pics have said she is lying about the photos being 5 years old. They are all date coded and the events going on at the time are documented proof.
